Second Skin (Saniderm/Tegaderm) -

*Keep second skin bandage on the area for 5-7 days.

*Remove bandage (can be easier to do in the shower) and wash the area with unscented soap.

*Pat dry with a clean towel. 

*Apply a plain white water based lotion (Lubriderm/Jergens/Curel) or any other aftercare product immediately after removing bandage! 

*Wash area once a day with the unscented soap and apply aftercare 3 times daily for the first week!

Non-Second Skin - 

*Leave the bandage on for a minimum of 1-2 hours, maximum of overnight.

*Wash the tattoo with soap and water, do not scrub!

*WITH CLEAN HANDS apply chosen aftercare.  We recommend Hustle Butter or H2Ocean.

*Use above aftercare for 2-4 days, twice a day, until the skin starts to dry out.  Then switch to a scent-free dye-free lotion.

*Keep the tattoo completely out of the sun for at least 1 month, sunscreen after that.

*If there are any signs of infection please contact a health care professional!

Signs of infection may include: extreme tenderness, swelling, excessive redness, signs of puss/oozing from the area.

*Do not soak the tattoo. 

*Avoid chlorine, lakes, and rivers for 2 weeks.

*Itching is part of the healing process.  DO NOT SCRATCH IT!

*Leave the scabs on for as long as possible to avoid losing color.
